Golden sunlight illuminates the peaks of snow-capped mountains under a dramatic sky. Patches of sunlight and shadow create a dynamic landscape.
This is one image in the set as I waited for the light to change. As the sun began to set in the late afternoon the colors began changing by the minute. I took a lot of photos during this time until way past twilight as I just watched different colors of sunset appear in the sky, bouncing off the clouds and reflecting back down onto the Sandias.
